01 · FABRIC

Woven dense.
Worn light.

Long-staple cotton and flax, loomed for us in Portugal, then finished until the cloth feels more like steam than fabric.

02 · CRAFT

Cut slow.
Sewn true.

Small-batch patterns, bound seams, a belt that stays tied. Every robe survives twelve wash tests before we let it leave.

03 · RITUAL

Made for the
hour after.

After the bath, before the world wants you back. These gowns are built for the minutes you keep for yourself.

THE COLLECTION · FW ’26

THE HOUSE

A robe house from a town of 291.

Bath Gowns LLC began on the second floor of 202 Central Avenue: one cutting table, two sewing machines, and a stubborn belief that a robe is furniture you wear.

We still work the same way. Cloth arrives from Portugal, we cut it in Kentucky, and nothing ships until somebody on this street has washed it, tumbled it and worn it.

CARE & KEEPING

Kind to the cloth.

Uncustomized robes come with a 30-night softness trial. The notes below keep waffle and terry drinking, and keep silk off the machine.

01 · WASH

Cold, gentle, like colors.

Machine-wash cool on the gentle cycle. Skip the fabric softener. It coats the very loops that do the drinking.

02 · DRY

Low heat, high patience.

Tumble low with wool dryer balls, or line-dry in the shade. A firm shake brings terry back to attention.

03 · SILK

Hands only.

Hand-wash cool with a drop of pH-neutral soap. Roll in a towel to press out water, never wring, then dry flat.

04 · REPAIRS

Two years, on us.

Seams, belts and loops repaired free for the first two years. After that, honest work quoted at honest rates.
